Planning Board · Meeting of September 16, 2026

Mashpee Planning Board hears signage fix and housing-conversion talk at renamed Fin Landing complex. Town Planner Brian Tobin told the board the new owners of the 31-unit former South Cape Village timeshare at 950 Falmouth Road, a three-member LLC largely from Mashpee, want to shift toward annual leases targeting workforce housing, but hit "a small hurdle regarding their plans for bedroom count expansion" and were referred to health agent Zach Seabury. Design Review member Karen Faulkner reported the complex's sign had to shrink to meet R3 zoning limits, with no separate leasing sign allowed.

Separately, a stop-work order halted an office renovation at 33 Seanest Road in New Seabury, where the Plan Review Committee is weighing a conversion from 13 larger offices to 25 smaller ones. The board's only vote was a unanimous motion to adjourn.
